What Will You Learn?

  • New course will be interesting for experienced feltmakers, but beginners will cope with this task as well. You will see all the stages of creating a backpack, from creating a design and drawing a sketch, transferring the technical drawing to the fabric, preparing the blanks for pockets and flap and attaching them to the bag, felting process, preparing the leather blank for the bottom to making the straps for the backpack and attaching the bottom.
  • You will also learn how to get high quality felt when you're working into the thickness of wool layers - techniques that will help you to create a product of high quality; how to quickly and efficiently attach locks to the bag - you will see how this process could save your time with the most functional outcome; how to make a universal strap for the backpack and attach it;
  • how to attach the rivets and eyelets.
